OAAs in departmental use before privatisation were prefixed ZDA. I only saw these on the Southern region in departmental service but have photos of them all over the UK in their revenue guise and may include them on the site at some time in the future.
Non vacuum brake and piped versions of my favourite wagon. These will be rescanned with the new scanner at a future date as some of these pics are completely c##p due to my last scanner being at least 10 years old!
One offs, oddities and examples of wagon types where I've only photted one or two of a type are all dumped in here. Some of these pics will be really c##p [even worse than in the other folders] but have been posted here for their historical value:- yxv_kdb924602.jpg being a good example as I've not seen a pic of this elsewhere.
Ex Freightliner flats now fitted with conventional drawgear at both ends and 6 drop doors per side. Used as 'general material carriers' to transport the lighter materials to and from worksites. Known colloquially as Tench in Fishkind language.
On July 21st 2007 several members of DEMU made an official visit to Basford Hall yard. This is a collection of 50 pictures from that day ... and I have somehow managed to fail to include even one wagon detail picture or loco roster shot ... apart from the star loco of the day!
Having a 4mm example which is superb and only beaten by the Hornby 60 I purchased a 7mm version. I do some 7mm modelling but not Western Region diesels ... until now! Weathering inspiration came from here ... http://www.miac.org.uk/alanb4.htm
